Hi, I’m Breanna !
Hello! I’m Breanna Wright, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Trauma Professional (CTP). I believe that reaching out for support is an act of courage, and I’m honored you’re considering taking this step. My passion is creating a safe space where you can feel truly heard and understood, whether you’re seeking therapy for yourself, your child, your teen, or your relationship.
Each stage of life brings its own unique challenges, and I’m here to support you or your loved ones wherever you are on your journey. Let me share how we might work together.
Child Therapy
If you’re seeking therapy for your child, you may wonder how it can help when they’re so young. Children naturally express their inner world through play, which allows them to explore and process emotions in a way that feels safe and natural. In my sessions, I use Child-Centered Play Therapy to create a warm, supportive environment where your child takes the lead.
In the room, your child will have access to toys, art supplies, and games that encourage self-expression. My role is to provide an accepting presence that helps them feel safe to explore their emotions and work through their experiences. Over time, this process fosters emotional growth, builds confidence, and helps your child develop skills to manage their world more effectively. As a parent or caregiver, you’ll also be part of the process. I’ll share insights into your child’s progress and offer practical strategies to support their emotional growth and strengthen your connection outside of therapy
Adolescent Therapy
The teen years come with rapid changes, heightened emotions, and evolving relationships, which can feel overwhelming for both teens and their parents. Parents often feel concerned about their teen’s behavior or frustrated by communication breakdowns. Therapy provides teens with a safe, supportive space where they can feel heard and work through their challenges.
In my sessions, I use a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and creative tools like journaling, art, or storytelling to help teens express emotions they may struggle to put into words. Sessions are collaborative, allowing your teen to explore their thoughts and feelings at a pace that feels comfortable for them. Whether they’re managing anxiety, building self-esteem, or navigating relationship challenges, we’ll focus on practical strategies and emotional insight to help them grow. My goal is to empower your teen with the skills and self-awareness they need to navigate life’s challenges confidently, while also fostering a deeper understanding of their emotions and relationships.
Adult Individual Therapy
Life doesn’t get easier as we get older. It often becomes more complex, and it’s common to feel stuck, overwhelmed, or burdened by past experiences. In our sessions, I provide a calm, supportive space where you can reflect on your patterns and emotions and uncover what’s beneath these struggles.
Using Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), we’ll connect your thoughts, emotions, and body to uncover patterns and process difficult experiences. Together, we’ll practice grounding exercises, explore past wounds, and build practical tools to help you navigate life’s challenges. Therapy becomes a space where you can release heavy emotions, reconnect with yourself, and move toward a life that feels true to who you are.
Relationship Therapy
Our closest relationships can bring both immense joy and significant challenges. When couples face recurring conflict, disconnection, or struggles with trust, therapy offers a chance to reconnect and rebuild. Whether you’re navigating communication challenges, rebuilding trust after a breach, or feeling disconnected, couples therapy offers the tools to help you grow together.
I use Emotionally Focused Therapy to help couples uncover the deeper emotions driving their interactions and create a stronger emotional bond. Sessions with me are a space where both partners feel heard and supported. We’ll focus on identifying negative cycles, improving communication, and building emotional security in the relationship. In the room, I help you practice expressing your needs and responding to your partner in ways that strengthen connection. Couples often leave sessions feeling more aligned, with a renewed sense of trust and intimacy.
Throughout all this work, I bring both professional expertise and genuine care to our sessions. With my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and experience across various settings, I’ve seen how powerful it can be when people feel truly understood and supported in therapy. Our work together will be collaborative. You’re the expert on your life, and I’m here to walk alongside you, offering guidance and support as you move toward the changes you want to make.
When I’m not in session, you’ll find me practicing yoga, painting, or experimenting with new cheesecake recipes (still working on the perfect one!). My cats, Chaz and Nikko, are my daily reminders of the importance of play and connection, values that I bring into my work with every client.
I know it might feel overwhelming to take this first step, but you don’t have to figure everything out alone. Whether you’re seeking support for yourself, your child, your teen, or your relationship, I’m here to help you move toward healing and growth at your own pace.
